Dogs and humans have had a special bond since the beginning of mankind.

Dogs descended from wolves and wolves often roam in packs which can be the reason why modern domesticated dogs feel more comfortable in a family home life. Humans, in general, have a special fondness for dogs because of their ability to pick up on human emotions and human energy. Unlike other pets such as goldfish, cats, hamsters, gerbils, or rabbits, dogs are very protective of their family (master and other members of the household).

Once a dog is brought into a human family they are able to pick up on their emotions and will protect them from any danger.

The loyalty of dogs is the main reason why the canine and human bond has been so strong for so many centuries. Dogs are the only animals that can show affection, show obedience, show attentiveness, show concern, and show compassion to their human family.

Their fearlessness and innate animalistic aggressiveness are easily displayed when they sense that someone is going to harm their owner and immediate family.
Most domesticated dogs are also very good with children often nearby and acting as security.

The protectiveness and devotion the domesticated dogs have towards their human families are the very characteristics that the dog-man relationship has remained strong throughout the years and throughout many countries in the world. There is an unwritten relationship agreement between man and dog. The unwritten agreement is that the dog provides protection and loyalty, while the human owner provides a home and provides food. Both parties play an important role and positively impacts each other’s lives. Dogs are naturally loyal animals and when treated well by their owner they will show great devotion and become emotionally bonded. Dogs also are known for showing empathy towards humans especially their owners, they can detect when their owner is sad, sick, angry, scared, and happy.

Once a dog becomes comfortable with their owner and becomes in-tune with their personality they can then pick up on their moods.

Many dogs show sadness or cry if they see their owner sick or hurt just as an owner will be upset should their dog get injured or become ill.

The relationship between a dog owner and their loyal dog is something very special and because a dog cannot speak their actions speak much louder than words.

Making the decision to become a dog owner is a big responsibility, but it also comes with great rewards such as unconditional love, loyalty, admiration, protectiveness, and an ear to talk to when you need to vent about your day.

Dogs live for their human owners so it is only right for dog owners to properly care for their dogs by giving them a safe home, good food, clean water, baths, grooming, vet visits, outdoor exercise, and affection because dogs truly are man’s best friend.
